Blossom Music Center

Spring is here, at least it is supposed to be Spring even though I needed to scrape my car windows of ice this morning (April 15th). Spring in Cleveland means Cleveland Indians baseball and it also is the start of the concert season at Blossom Music Center.

If you are new to Cleveland, Blossom Music Center is located approximately mid-way between Cleveland and Akron. It isn't more than a half hour drive from most locations in the metro Cleveland-Akron area since its near I-271.

My favorite memories of Blossom include going to a Beach Boys concert there in the 1970's, making a wrong turn out of the parking lot and ending up in Akron very far away from Westlake where I grew up in. That was indeed a long but fun night and it taught me an important lesson, always remember from which direction you turn into a concert. Or better yet, in this day and age, make a map from Mapquest!!

Cheap Indians Tickets

It's time to go cheer on the Tribe again. The weather for the home opener yesterday was spectacular. I think it was the warmest day we had this year. I gave my son tickets (for good grades!) to the game and he had a blast. Their seats were near the White Sox bullpen and apparently one of their pitchers gave his friend a souvenier ball. I received a text message from him at about 3:15 "These are sweet seats, Mom." They were $26.00 face value tickets in Section 113.

I haven't posted much lately due to alot happening in my family. My dad's been ill, so I need to give him alot of extra attention since he's so special to me at 93! We're also trying to decide on a college for my oldest child, which has turned into a huge decision making process.
